Suitability:

This course is most suited to those with children who are aged between 12-24 months, in preparation for toddler management and understanding, as they move from infants to toddlers. This course is also suitable for those with children aged between 2-3 years who are experiencing difficulties with their toddler.

Course Highlights:

Development

A debrief of parenting and the development of your toddler throughout toddlerhood. Understanding normal development and how you can promote learning through play. A look at routines and their place in a child’s life. Helping to decode your child’s communication to help inform your parenting.

Being Small Is Hard

A look at why toddlers misbehave and understanding how they see the world. What is meant by the term ‘big feelings and big emotions’. What can adults can do to make toddler’s lives makes sense and support their physical, social and emotional development.

Behaviour

A debrief of reasonable and developmentally appropriate expectations for the toddler years. Understanding how and when to talk to your child so that they’ll listen and respond how you would like. Setting rules and consistency for toddlers as well as guides to discipline and tantrum management.

Q and A Session

Our Q and A course version offers an additional 30 minutes added to the course length and restricted numbers, to ensure we can answer all those burning toddler questions!
