This course is most suited to those, with children aged between 3-10 years, who are experiencing difficulties in behaviour, understanding and/or communication.

Course Highlights:

Positive Approach

What is truly meant by ‘positive parenting’ and actioning it in practice. Understanding how our small humans think and act according to their development informs how we can respond. Ensuring our child’s needs are met and development supported, both physically and emotionally, before laying out boundaries and demanding respect in turn.

Being Young Is Hard

A look at why children misbehave and understanding how they see the world. What is meant by the term ‘big feelings and big emotions’. What can adults can do to support social and emotional development whilst instilling values and morals.

Behaviour

The importance of laying out expectations and boundaries in behaviour improvement. Understanding how and when to talk to your child so that they’ll listen and respond appropriately. Natural and currency consequences guidelines when behaviour is not acceptable.

Q and A Session

Our Q and A course version offers an additional 30 minutes added to the course length and restricted numbers, to ensure we can answer all those burning behavioural questions!

    • You cannot be seen or heard

    • Take notes during the course

    • Look through the resources, and consider the information and strategies from your course
