Course Highlights:

Science Of Sleep

An overview of sleep science as it pertains to your child. A look at sleep stages and the progression of these throughout the first year. Stress, overtiredness and lack of sleep disrupt circadian rhythms and active tools for how these can be fixed.

Practical Guide

Resources and guidance for the implementation of sleep training (modified ferber method). Tools for helping your child gain optimum sleep (and hopefully you too!). Understanding and aims for the key scenarios which may disrupt sleep.

Listening To Baby

Understanding how children’s cognitive levels and communication can impact how we sleep train. A look at the different kinds of cries and how to respond to ensure our children’s needs are met and considerate parenting is maintained while structuring new routines and boundaries in baby’s life.

Myth Debunking

Recognising the myths surrounding research allows us to understand the role of attachment in self soothing and sleep as well as understanding age appropriate sleep practices. Research enables informed practice and ensures children’s needs and attachment are optimal throughout their sleeping life.

Positive Sleep

Through the guidance in this course your child will learn to enjoy sleeping as well as develop positive associations with sleep.

Q and A Session

Our Q and A course version offers an additional 30 minutes added to the course length and restricted numbers, to ensure we can answer all those burning sleep questions!
